Solomon has done two jobs for me, both of them brilliant. He is an excellent craftsman and has an eye for the right fabric. He has just re-webbed a Shaker chair seat for me which looks fabulous and he reupholstered a 60s egg chair for me a while ago which was really tricky because of the curves but he has made it so beautiful. Everyone who sees it is impressed immediately. It was so worth doing because it has transformed the room. It’s also so good to reuse things rather than buy new and you can choose just the fabric you want. He has a great selection. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. Proper craftsmanship like his is a joy to find.

Solomon is our go-to man for any form of upholstery or restoration (although our stuff has largely been Victorian / Edwardian), cannot speak highly enough for the excellence of the work of him and his team. There's something truly magical about the process of restoring knackered old pieces back to their former glory (especially in these recycling-conscious times) and nobody does it better in terms of comfort, detail precision and respect for the elegance and authenticity of the original piece in our experience. Solomon is also a totally professional, helpful and charming geezer to work with who delivers when he says he will and at the price he has competitively quoted for the quality of his craftmanship.

Great experience using Solomon Upholstery.
Solomon is very knowledgeable about all kinds of furniture and he knew exactly what we wanted to achieve with our vintage sofa. Solomon and his team have done a first class restoration of a much loved family heirloom, a set of dining table and chairs. Solomon advised on upholstery fabric and what needed to be done to repair the furniture to better then new. The results are beautiful. Solomon is clearly a master craftsman and artist. Would highly recommend.
