I had the BiangBiang 3 in 1 noodles (N.2). Big portion and quite delicious. They were made fresh from scratch, complimentary soup if you still have some room in your stomach. Plenty of seats available on a Friday morning (10am)

There’s a Mala Xiang Guo stall here offering vegetables at $1.50/100g, which is pretty affordable. However, the female staff at the counter was unfriendly and seemed annoyed the whole time. I also didn’t enjoy the chili paste they used; it had a very different flavor from the usual Mala style and didn’t taste good.

Always come here for ba chor mee. Coffee and ice tea also good. They have new stall biang biang noodle. I try their beef noodle, not bad.

This is my go-to fishball mee kia for breakfast. Taste great with chilli. The texture of the mee kia is cooked just right. Lots of fishballs.

Nah ini dia kopi tiam legend didaerah Bugis. Kopi tiam ini punya banyak stand makanan dari ringan sampai berat. Harganya pun masih terjangkau. Mie nya enak. Ada nasi sayur juga dengan banyak lauk dan sayur nya. Mau sarapan kopi dengan roti srikaya disini juga ada. Tempatnya bersih tapi self service ya. Bagi kamu yang muslim kalau yang biasa sarapannya kopi dengan roti atau telur setengah matang juga bisa ya karena halal. Sisa nya non halal. Dan diatas kopi tiam ini ada losmen / hostel ( bukan kapsul ) dengan kmr mandi nya diluar dan harga nya masih di rate 700rb an. So kalau kamu di daerah Bugis bingung mau sarapan dimana, coba kesini aja pasti kamu suka

Beef soup noodle stall - noodle was atrociously bad. Noodle was not the fresh kind, and was the processed instant noodle type. Beef was dry. Soup was average. Yet this dish was "highly recommended" on the menu. Best to avoid the waste of time and money and go to bugis junction to get proper noodles.

1/2 the price of #toastbox brekky

Isn't air-conditioned but it's more authentic and original. This is more like the type of eateries we would be eating at, 30 years ago in Singapore (cleaner now though). They recently install a few giant portable aircon. #toastbox @toastbox would be more like a modern imitation of such ambience, well more comfy with a price tag.

There's a China style noodle stall biangbiangmian serving very nice spicy sour mala etc, a chicken rice stall, a mixed rice vege stall, a very nice mala pot stall, a local style BCM noodle stall, and a coffee stall.

I bought this traditional Sg brekky set at the coffee stall for $3.70!!! Yes 50% cheaper than toastbox. The butter is 70% lesser but we don't need to eat that much butter, we all over-eat.

Replace one piece of the bread with 2 small eggs and it cost the same. Again we don't need giant eggs at #toastbox for twice the price.

Coffee and tea are not bad - ok toastbox is better wth the coffee. So it's up to you to choose 😏.

Considering it is located right in the heart of central, please be mindful prices generally will be pricier than heartland areas. But it's still reasonable in most cases.

PS: they open very very early and one stall is operating 24hrs .

There are many local restaurants in the same zone, all of which look delicious.
