I’ve visited several Pepe’s locations across London, and most of them offer a standard portion size. However, the Brick Lane branch consistently serves portions that are about half the size of what other franchises provide. Considering we’re paying the same price, why is there such a significant difference in portion sizes? This has happened multiple times now. While I frequent this branch because it’s the closest to me, the smaller portion sizes, especially for the rice box, are quite disappointing.

Very nice place to have quick lunch or dinner or something you like to eat anytime then Pepe’s is best halal fast food chain in UK. Specifically grilled chicken with rice and chips. Try their cheese cake in desserts.

I just wanted to grab a quick bite and ordered the half chicken and fries 🍟 with a drink. I specifically asked for the chicken thigh not wings but my request wasn’t adhered to. I got home to find out I was given the wings area and that just spoilt my experience.

The taste however was good, it was also flame grilled and so the Smokey flavor was very present. But no taking into consideration a customers request is the only down side off experience.

Would come here atleast once a month. And this time round the lady who served very rude and seemed unhappy. Food came as i got takeaway and the food came half the portion it usually comes photo taken. Will not come to this pepe again if this is how they want to treat regular customers.

Do not pay the extra £3.50 for the “extra chicken”! Went here twice this weekend & got 1 normal rice box and 1 with extra chicken and both times we went home and see that it’s the same amount of chicken in both. I’ve been to the Tottenham branch multiple times and they’ve always given the extra chicken rice box in a bigger box with the extra chicken. I don’t know what kind of training the staff at bricklane are getting but they are probably trying to keep their costs low by scamming their customers.

Service and atmosphere of the shop was awful, staff standing around talking and laughing like customers have all day. Shop needs to be cleaned thoroughly. All staff working like they are not bothered. No please no thank you nothing. It’s like they are just cheap labour there. They don’t have a menu, I was told to give a review first then the menu will come up. How can I review a place without ordering or eating my food first. Food was great I cannot complain but the staff need a wake up call. I feel just because it’s busy and they know it they don’t bother with anything as they know they have the foot fall already.

Ok at best. I’d only recommend visiting Pepe’s if you’re very hungry and there’s no real alternative available.

I found the decor and overall maintenance of the shop to be average. Prices to portion sizes of food was a joke. They are extortionately priced for what they offer and are very frugal when it comes to providing sauces.

The food is tasty but the staff members are emotional, unprofessional and unethical.
The Manager needs to hire trained staff to be more attentive and could enhance and attract the customers. Even though they are talking in a rude manner with delivery riders. What a nonsense behaviour. 🤷‍♂️
