🌟 𝐈𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐚 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞, $𝟏𝟏.𝟔𝟎
The nori matcha is pretty smooth and has subtle hints of nori/seaweed aftertaste which is quite unique. The overall flavour is richer compared to the miyabi matcha imo. Was recommended to use fresh milk instead of oat milk to taste the flavour better 😊

This has slight hints of nuttiness to it but after trying the nori matcha, this feels a little ‘milder’ in terms of flavour to me

Tried a few sips of this iced coffee which is supposed to have tasting notes of blueberries, milk chocolate and a winey taste. Not a coffee person so I may not be a good judge of the taste but I found it on the sourish side. My friend who drinks coffee said that it’s at least not bitter although she did find it sour as well. To be fair, the owner Nicholas did mention this to be an acquired taste, some like it some don’t. So if you are not the adventurous sort, perhaps you can get the regular coffee option instead 😄

Fluffy and moist with refreshing lemon yuzu curd in the centre

Recommend to heat up for a fudgier texture. It is pretty sweet but topped with bitter matcha powder

known for their matcha drinks, calligraphcoffee also serves up great coffee! I tried their Einspanner – a fruity iced black (hei blend) topped with generous serving of sweet & salty cream☕️

💻 Just a heads-up, the cafe doesn’t have wifi, so you'll need to connect to Duo Galleria’s public wifi which is quite weak

One of the rare places where I can say both coffee and matcha are good!

For coffee, try Baima Natural Bean, a specialty single origin coffee from Yunnan!

For matcha, try their seasonal drink, Strawberry Matcha Einspanner, or the Nori Ceremonial Matcha!

There are also yummy bakes like apple crumble tart and almond croissant to go along with our drinks.

The Iced Nori Matcha Latte was a standout—refreshing with the perfect hint of seaweed. Love the smooth and umami flavour of their top-range ceremonial-grade matcha. We paired it with their fresh, fluffy Blueberry Cheesecake Muffin, filled with creamy cheese goodness. The Basque Cheesecake was a bit crumbly but still satisfying.

For coffee lovers, their Yunnan Baima Natural Coffee is worth a try—unique with a subtle winey note and low acidity. We also had the Iced Miyabi Matcha Latte, another option from their ceremonial-grade matcha range. While I enjoyed its slight nutty profile, the Nori Matcha Latte still won me over.

I like that the description of tasting notes is really accurate and matcha quality is worth the price, with the amazing latte art skill 🙌

If compared to Marukyu Koyamaen, Nori is more to Aoarashi and Miyabi relates to Wakatake.

Brownies are dense, sweet and buttery, with a layer of matcha choco and powder on top.

Hope will be visiting for coffee soon!

Really good quality green tea and hojicha also. Everything made to order so it takes a little while but the wait isn’t too long. Order from the screen and they’ll call your number when the order is ready. There’s some seating both inside and outside the cafe but they do fill up quite quickly. Worth dropping by if you’re in the area.

My bestfriend and I always looking for the best matcha-coffee shop within the metro! If you love both Matcha (authentic) and Coffee (proper beans used) then this place is for u! Plus a bonus that their desserts (like the basque cheesecake) and savoury treat like the Ham and Cheese croissant was a hit too! Love that the owner (Nicholas) also hands on to his business so u can assure everything is of quality in taste and service! Just newly opened in Bugis (Duo Galleria) so Bugis MRT is just nearby (Blue and Green Line) Love the white wall colors and high ceilings that even if the place is not that big, still you wouldn't feel cramped or not easy to move..plus nice to try their outdoor seating too with fresh air and greeneries outside or do people watching! I saw how they made their matcha and its just not ur regular matcha they have different taste of matcha i picked the nutty one with a hint of pistachios and for the coffee the blend that has a mixture of dark choco and raisins! Amazing right!? Myst try the hojicha latte too!! Overall Rating for this is 5/5✨ I loved it! And will be back again that's for sure! Thanks again Nicholas 🙂
