Been eying to buy the whole cake during the birthday.

Previously brought the slice cake it's quite small and ex. Thinking about the price and size better buy the whole cake.

Brought the Whole Regular Chocolate Cake.
The taste is just nice for me not too ridiculously sweet.

You know that you look really desperate and scummy when you put up a photo of 4 tarts for your Lemon Tart on delivery platforms, but only 1 tart is delivered.

Don't say that's marketing. You don't put a photo of 4 whole cakes for your 1 whole cake because you know it wouldn't make sense. You know it's misleading. You put the exact quantity for the other items listed on your shop.

So there's no defence for using a photo of 4 tarts for just 1 tart.

Furthermore, it screams pretentious and greedy to charge $10 for a small lemon tart that can be finished in 3 bites. That's daylight robbery. It's utterly criminal. What? Your tart is so good it's gonna make me levitate?

This product is relatively new, and you decided to pull a stunt like this. Congrats. You spoiled your reputation for a product that's not even chocolate-based.

Last time I'm ordering from your establishment.

I wanted to get their raspberry ruby chocolate cake (pink color) but it was too last minute for me to order for pick-up online. I made my way to the northpoint outlet anyways and thankfully they had a whole cake for sale. The packaging was nice and the cake was really delicious! It has a nice tartness of the raspberry and the sweetness was well-balanced! However, their original chocolate cake is still my ultimate favourite 🙂 hopefully they can make more variations in future!

“The chocolate lava cake always makes me taste buds sing; it’s so delicious. I wish I could eat it everyday. I don’t understand why a lot of people rated 1 star nah they are crazy the treats at chocolate origin are so yummy

Brought the cake today, realise the size shrink quite abit. Taste wise isn’t as good as before. The outer layer of chocolate part also shrink a lot. Take a look at the third pic, that’s taken few years back, the different is real.

Tried their matcha lava cake ($7.50) and was pleasantly surprised. It was dense, gooey and not overly sweet. Can get abit cloying after awhile.

Just bought their dark chocolate cake last month and today (June 2024). I wanted to confirm that it wasnt my taste bud that was wrong when I bought in May. Was very disappointed with its standard. It was not like before when there used to be a lot of chocolate and the size of the cake was bigger. I agree with a previous post by Wen Xin (check the pictures) that they replaced chocolate with cake. Not as amazing as it used to be. The dark chocolate taste also didn't come out as good as it used to be. My family couldn't even tell that I bought dark chocolate. Waste of money. Don't waste your money on Chocolate Origin cake anymore, especially if you are a dark choc fan. You'll be disappointed.
