I arrived 5 minutes before closing and the only bakes left were Basque Cheesecake ($3.20). I don't even like Basque cheesecake to begin with, but I didn't want to leave empty-handed, so I got not 1 but 2 to go. I ate one on the spot and loved the en pointe creamy texture, but it was not over the top. This changed my mind about Basque cheesecake.

I recalled the tarts was quite good in my previous visits. I recommend arriving early for more bake selection.

Our interests were piqued by the charming storefront and the artfully crafted patisseries, so we decided to try an array of financiers and madeleines. To say we were impressed would be an understatement! These are easily some of the best French pastries we’ve enjoyed in Singapore, made even better by their affordable price. I’d especially recommend the lemon lime madeleine (not pictured)—it’s an absolute must-try!

Auntie was really friendly and warm when serving me, and her tarts were absolutely delicious! I bought 4 Lemon Meringue Tarts and 4 Chocolate Ganache ones, they were absolutely loved by my colleagues and left us craving more (Though the chocolate ganache ones are a bit more satiating, would be more suitable if you enjoy the creamy, gaoness of dark chocolate). Would return to purchase again!

Bought some last minute desserts for my birthday party later tonight. I’m super appreciative of the two ladies who helped pack my large order in front of the queue. Total number was 26 items.

I’ve been trying all of their items and especially like the Lemon Meringue Tart and the New York Cheesecake. Initially I was looking forward to a Key Lime Pie situation but those two mentioned earlier did not disappoint at all. Weren’t too sweet either!

Overall, i’m so thankful for their help to pack some desserts for my party. Do give them a try when you’re in the area!

Went on Sunday morning - was pleasantly surprised that there wasn’t a queue - only 3-4 pax in front of me .. tried the macadamia tart , lemon Madeline and sea salt macadamia financier. Cost total of $9.5 . Good value as the pastries are really delicious and the owner is generous with the macadamia nuts . Recommended

Reasonably affordable for excellent quality bakeries. I love the tarts - Macadamia nuts (every bite with nuts) and Figs & honey (citrusy and nice). The banana cake is moist and not overly sweet. The macadamia choc chip muffin is moist and lots of choc chip with every bite. Will return for other bakes.

Rare find in a hawker centre, almost had nothing left by the time I was there at 1pm on a sat. I randomly ordered three of the remaining items - basque cheesecake, lemon meringue tart, cookie scone.

All were pretty good and value for money and worth a try, but otherwise not something I would specifically come to get.
I suspect the more popular and signature bakes might be more impressive.

Zhu Liying

This has been on my to-try list for awhile but because of the short operating hours, never gotten a chance. Finally tried it out yesterday and it was delicious!

Taste wise, it was rich and flavourful in the best ways a french pastry should be. The good quality of ingredients used was apparent and they didn’t sting on the quantity, yet keeping prices affordable. If I had to pick on something, it’ll be that the structure of the pastries wasn’t as stable as they can be.

I paired them with teh from 1+kopi stall and I couldn’t be happier with a delectable after-meal dessert less than $5.
